I train all breeds of horses for western events: reining,cowhorse,ranching,mountain trail riding,barrels,gaming, although I have also started my fair share of sport horses, dressage and hunter/jumpers. I train from the ground up, a solid foundation is key to a great horse. It doesn't matter the end disipline a horse will have they all need the foundation and respect. The way I train is to have an end result of a truly broke horse in everyway from picking up feet, standing tied, leading. They must have as much respect for you on the ground as they do when your in the saddle. I expect a horse to be soft in the face responsive off my legs and responsible for his/her actions and know that there are consiquenses if they act in a stupid or disrespectful way. Once a horse is shown the correct way to act it is easy for them to stay in that frame of mind and they like our praises for being respectful. Horses that know they have boundries are much happier because they know who the leader is and they respect that. They are ready and willing to learn and do all they can to please us. I ride the horses in training in the arena and out on the trails. With over 100acres here at my ranch with creeks and cattle to ride around. They are exposed to bikes, kids, 4-wheelers, tractors, roads with cars, crossing creeks, riding on narrow trails and in open pastures.
I can also get your horse out and expose them to other places to further them on their training I can take them and show them at shows, barrel races, practice cuttings, roping practice, team penning. Any entry fees & a small fuel charge(fuel is split between how many horses I took) I will bill to the owner every two weeks with the list of everything I took their horse to and what placings if any. We will discuss what you'd like me to take your horse to and how often you'd like your horse to go.

Training ~colt starting $550 month 60 day minimum~ I don't do 30day wonders.
~horses with major problems to help them with $650 1st month $600 per month after that
~basic advancement on detailed training $550 per month, reining, cutting, roping, barrels, poles, trails, ranch horse, ect.
